NJN Organizes Protests in Solidarity with Israeli General Strike

On Sunday, August 17th, 2025, in solidarity with our Israeli friends and families staging a general strike in Israel, NJN staged protests across the U.S. demanding an end to the war, the return of all of the hostages, and a surge of humanitarian aid to Gaza.

Organized by New Jewish Narrative alongside our partners at UnXeptable, JStreet, Friends of Standing Together, and the Union for Reform Judaism, we gathered in Washington, DC, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.

At the DC demonstration in front of the White House, NJN’s President and CEO Hadar Susskind spoke about our responsibility as American Jews to do everything we can to pressure our leaders to bring an end the war.
