NJN Summer Internship 2026

Responsibilities– broadly, you’ll be assisting with programs, communications, development, and advocacy work over the course of the summer. That might look like:

  • Assisting with administrative work (data analysis, tracking NJN’s media output and engagement numbers, sending thank-you notes and donation acknowledgments)

  • Assisting with educational programming, including informational one-pagers, graphics, social media content, webinars, and PeaceCast, NJN’s podcast

  • Conducting research and writing op-eds or blog posts for our website

  • Helping with protest and event planning and event communications, including the upcoming NJN Fall Gala

  • Maintaining our online database records

Note: This is only a sample list of responsibilities, and our needs may shift over time. We also encourage interns to bring their own passions to the table and are happy to work with interns to develop projects that excite them—this internship offers independent learning and research opportunities as well as professional skill development.

Ideally, you are a current student (juniors or seniors preferred) or recent graduate with:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Demonstrated interest in Israeli-Palestinian peace and in American policy

  • Demonstrated interest in civil rights and advocacy/organizing work

  • Good organizational abilities and time-management skills

  • Ability to quickly grasp new technical and administrative skills

The time commitment for the internship is 10 hours per week. The internship will take place from May 30th through August 30th (dates flexible). This is a paid position at the rate of $15/hour and is mostly remote, though DC candidates are preferred.

Please e-mail your cover letter, resume, writing sample, and contact information for an academic or professional recommendation to Maxxe Albert-Deitch, at maxxe@newjewishnarrative.org with the subject line “NJN Summer Internship 2026.”
