No Kings Day

No Kings Day

As the president escalates his authoritarian power grab, the NO KINGS non-violent movement continues to rise stronger. We are united once again to remind the world: America has No Kings and the power belongs to the people.

No Kings is a peaceful movement of millions of Americans from all walks of life rising up to make it clear: We don’t do dictators or kings in America. We never will. We’re organizing and taking action to defend each other and our communities, demand dignity, and say enough to all of the Trump administration’s power grabs. Millions of us took to the streets in June, and we’re doing it again on Saturday, October 18.

Greet Netanyahu with Silence: Vigil in D.C.

Wherever he goes, Netanyahu should be haunted by the faces of civilians killed in Gaza and the hostages he abandoned. When he visits DC on Monday the 29th, we will be there to silently line the street, holding up photos of the innocents whose blood is on his hands.

This event is organized by American and Israeli Jews, and is open to all.

Please do not bring flags or drums.

Meet us at the corner of 17th and Pennsylvania (on 17th).

The Future is Peace with Aziz Abu-Sarah & Maoz Inon

Activists and social entrepreneurs Aziz Abu-Sarah and Maoz Inon are at the forefront of a growing collaborative initiative of Palestinians and Israelis in the land. Just off organizing the biggest peace conference in Israel in 30 years and offering the closing remarks at the Netroots Nation Conference, together they are instigating a shift in vocabulary, coming from the lived experience in the region, to address the Israeli-Palestinian quagmire. Strategically, they are working to institutionalize unapologetic language of mutual equality, dignity and security, to serve as the core propelling any critical negotiations efforts.

Please join us at Brotherhood Synagogue on Sunday, September 28th at 2pm for this urgent conversation on atonement, reconciliation, and peace building.

This gathering is proudly co-sponsored by the following organizations:

  • New Jewish Narrative

  • Partners for Progressive Israel

  • Lab/Shul

  • Israelis for Peace NYC

  • InterAct

  • New Israel Fund

  • American Friends of Combatants for Peace
