NJN is cosponsoring the 7th Annual Joint Nakba Remembrance Ceremony led by American Friends of Combatants for Peace.
This year’s theme, “Sumud in Humanity,” reflects a powerful choice: to remain human in the face of immense pain and injustice. In a time marked by devastation in Gaza and rising violence in the West Bank, this ceremony offers a space for dignity, truth, and shared humanity.
Together, we will listen to and honor stories that are too often unheard, grounded in the belief that acknowledging both narratives is essential to building a just future. The live broadcast will begin at 1:00 PM Eastern Time on May 15, 2026.
