NJN Teams Up with Peace Now to Say: Israelis Welcome a Palestinian State

Throughout the day on Monday, September 22nd, a truck circled UN Headquarters in New York with a clear message to those deliberating on recognition of a Palestinian state: Israelis support a Palestinian state.

The truck, sponosored by NJN and Peace Now, served to amplify the message already being sent in Israel by Peace Now that Israelis support a Palestinian state.

The mobile billboard, which read “Israelis welcome a Palestinian State” and “two states for a better future for both people,” made clear to local passersby and world diplomats that a Palestinian state is good for Israel, and that the current Israeli government’s misleading claims about a Palestinian state do not speak for American or Israeli Jews.

The moblie billboard parked outside of UN Headquarters.
