NJN Sees Opportunity in UN Security Council Resolution 2803

November 18, 2025—New Jewish Narrative welcomes the passage of UN Security Council Resolution 2803, in which the Security Council endorsed the establishment of the International Stabilization Force (ISF) in Gaza.

Since the ceasefire in the Gaza War came into force a month ago, one stumbling block to progress has been a lack of verifiable process towards the establishment of the ISF, which is intended to play a key role in providing security to Gazans and ensuring the demilitarization of the Gaza Strip. Without such progress, we risk seeing the status quo – in which the Gaza Strip is split between Israeli and Hamas control – fester, and the path towards Palestinian independence wither on the vine.

UN Security Council resolution 2803 provides international legitimacy and legal grounding to the ISF. This is a positive step as long as it provides security to both Palestinians and Israelis and  is part of a process to Palestinian self-determination.

“This Security Council resolution endorses the Trump Administration’s approach to end the Gaza War, rebuild Gaza, and establish a credible path to a Palestinian state,” said Hadar Susskind, President and CEO of New Jewish Narrative. “We call on President Trump to use this tool to improve conditions in Gaza and build a future that truly serves the interests of both Israelis and Palestinians.”
