Congress to vote on War Powers resolutions

Congress is voting on a series of War Powers resolutions that can constrain President Trump from continuing his war against Iran.

This conflict is already spreading around the region. American soldiers have died. Civilians in Israel, Palestine, Lebanon, and Iran have also been killed.

The military action now underway will not make us – or our Israeli friends and family – any safer. At best, there’ll be short-term, tactical gains. Military force cannot dismantle Iran’s nuclear knowledge, eliminate the threat posed by its ballistic missile capabilities, or stop Iranian-sponsored terrorism.

We need a comprehensive strategy grounded in diplomacy and de-escalation, not impulsive military action that spirals into another prolonged war.

Tell your Representative and Senators to support these resolutions and urge them to reject any additional funding for this war.
