Jews Say: “No More!” – NYC Protest (8/4/25)
On August 4th New Jewish Narrative joined with over one thousand other Jews to protest outside of Trump Tower in New York, calling on the Trump administration to pressure the Israeli government to get food into Gaza, end the war, and work for the release of all hostages.
The list of speakers included NYC Comptroller Brad Lander, Board President of American Friends of Combatants for Peace Gili Getz, Executive Director of T’ruah Rabbi Jill Jacobs, Ruth Messinger, and Peter Beinart, as well as Palestinian journalists and activists.
In coming together to chant “no more,” “enough,” and “let Gaza live,” demonstrators showed communal anger at what is happening in Gaza and demanded a more just future.
As covered by Haaretz and other press, the demonstration ended when police arrested dozens of protesters calling for peace for blocking the street in front of Trump Tower.
