50+ Faith Groups Advocate for Abortion Medication Access
New Jewish Narrative joined over 50 other diverse faith organizations in filing an amicus brief in the US Supreme Court defending broad access to mifepristone — the medication commonly used for medication abortion and miscarriage care. This effort was led by the National Coalition of Jewish Women in response to a recent Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals ruling in Louisiana v. FDA, which reinstated medically unnecessary in-person dispensing requirements for the medication.
