Congress Must Respond to Rep. Randy Fine’s Bigotry

In his ten months in office, Rep Fine’s rhetoric has been grotesque. He said “mainstream Muslims should be destroyed.” He’s called for revoking the citizenship status of American Muslims, saying “the least we can do is kick them the hell out of America.” And he’s tweeted that “Palestinian is a synonym for evil.”

Jews don’t need to be told twice how dangerous this sort of hate is. Rep. Fine’s actions are sure to encourage other bigots. They contribute to a climate of fear and division. They put real people at risk. 

Tell your Representative that Congress cannot allow itself to be used as a platform for bigotry targeting American Muslims or Palestinians.
