Protect the right to vote. Stop the SAVE America Act.

The SAVE America Act is an attack on the very core of American values – the right to vote.

Despite being framed as a simple “voter ID” measure, this bill goes much further. It requires Americans to present specific citizenship documents – like a passport or birth certificate – in person just to register or update their voter registration, effectively eliminating online and mail-in registration systems that millions rely on.

These burdens would fall hardest on communities already facing obstacles: military families who move frequently, married women whose names no longer match their birth certificates, trans and nonbinary people, rural voters far from election offices, Native voters whose IDs may not qualify, and communities of color who are less likely to have access to required documentation.

President Trump pretends this bill is a response to voter fraud. In reality, this bill makes it harder for eligible Americans to vote and easier to tilt the electorate – and that is the goal. President Trump has said passing this bill would “guarantee the midterms” which is why he has made it his “number one priority.”

We cannot allow politicians to decide who gets to participate in our democracy.
